What shall I do if your emails are routed to my SPAM folder?
The mere fact that an email is automatically directed to your SPAM folder does not necessarily mean that it actually is SPAM! SPAM filters often produce so-called false positives and mark legitimate emails as SPAM. You can be absolutely certain that our emails are not SPAM. If you find any of our emails in your SPAM folder, please do the following:
  1. Tell your email client that the message is not SPAM. All email and webmail clients have a button (labeled 'Not SPAM' or similar) that is displayed when you select a message in your SPAM folder. Use this button to remove our message from your SPAM folder.
  2. Add our email address news@farbspiel-photo.com to your email contacts. This tells your email client that you trust us and that our emails should never be marked as SPAM.

I did not receive any confirmation email after I subscribed! What should I do?
If the confirmation email does not get through to you, please do the following:
  1. Wait: Some email services can take a long time to deliver emails to you. Please wait for a couple of hours and check if the email was delivered.
  2. Check your SPAM folder: If you find the email there, please take the actions described What shall I do if your emails are routed to my SPAM folder?
  3. Check your filters: If you do not find the email in your SPAM folder, make sure you do not have any email filters installed that route our emails to some other folder. Sometimes, filters are defined to broadly and catch emails unexpectedly.
  4. Search: If you still cannot find the confirmation email, use your email client's search function to search for the subject line 'Action Required: Please confirm your subscription'
  5. Re-subscribe: If your search does not yield any result, please go back to farbspiel-photo.com and use any of the subscription forms to re-subscribe: Simply fill in the name and (most importantly) the email address you used for your prior subscription. You will be taken to a page telling you that you are already subscribed and a new confirmation email will be sent to you. Repeat all the steps above to find the new confirmation email.

The password in the welcome email does not work. How can I get my free eBook?
In rare cases, you may fail to unlock your free eBook download with the password that is provided to you in your welcome email after you subscribed. The following may help:
  1. The password is case-sensitive. Make sure you enter it into the password field with the correct capitalization (upper and lower case).
  2. Sometimes copying the password from the email and pasting it into the password field reproduces the password incorrectly. If copy/paste does not work for you, please type the password it by hand.
  3. When you typed in the correct password and click the Unlock button, the page will reload. You need to scroll back down to the download area to locate the Download button. When you click that button, your download will start automatically.

What can I do to see all the images in your emails?
By default, most email clients and webmail sites block images in all emails you receive. All images are stripped from the emails and only the HTML message is shown. Especially for photography-related emails, this is not the best viewing experience. To see our emails in all their beauty, you can tell your email/webmail client to display images on a per-email basis or for all emails by news@farbspiel-photo.com. The respective link or button is typically located immediately above the area that displays the email message.

How can I unsubscribe?
If you want to stop receiving our emails, you can use the Unsubscribe link that you find at the top left of each of our emails. It will take you two clicks, and we will never bother you again.
