The story of this photo:
Wat Phra That Suthon Monghon Khiri is a relatively new temple near Den Chai. It was built only 30 years ago and appears on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Within the facility everything really looks new and shiny. Since this is nowhere near any place with a lot of toursits, it is also not very crowded.

Take a look at my “HDR Cookbook”! It contains some more information on my techniques.

How it was shot:
> Handheld
> Three exposures (0, -2, +2 ev) autobracketed and merged to get and HDR
> Camera: Nikon D90
> Lens: Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-200mm 1:3,5-5,6G ED VR
> Details can be found here

How it was tonemapped:
> Photomatix version 3.1 (Detail Enhancer)

How it was post-processed:
> Post-processing was done in Photoshop
> Created two layers for the sky (background) and the rest (foreground) for separate processing (using the color range command in Photoshop)
> Saturation layer on the sky (master and blues)
> Topaz DeNoise on the sky [details]
> Topaz Adjust on the rest of the image to enhance the details and the colors [details]
> Levels adjustment on the entire image to make it a bit brighter
> Saturation layer on the foreground (master) to increase saturation
> Sharpening on the foreground using the high-pass filter [details]

Any comments, feedback or criticisms are highly welcome! Thanks for viewing!
