In this video tutorial, I will show you how to use Lightroom’s Adjustment Brush to adjust a sky even if it partially shines through trees. This is a situation that you come across often, and at first glance is seems to be very difficult to create an adjustment that applies precisely to the sky and not to the trees.
As it turns out, a very simple technique can be used in Lightroom to create that mask really quick.
In a Nutshell…
We will use the Adjustment Brush with the Auto Mask feature enabled, and we apply a special ‘tapping technique’ to fill in this holes between the leafs where the sky shines through.
