How to Turn on the Lights in Your Images in Lightroom

Photographing interiors where you don’t have control over the lighting can be a bit of a lottery. In this video, I’ll show you how to use Lightroom to turn on the lights and change the lighting after the fact as you wish.

You’ve probably been in that situation many times: You’re shooting an interior where you can sense that with all the lights turned on, it would look so much better. But you just don’t have any control over the interior lighting. Fortunately though, in many cases, you can do quite a lot about the light after the fact with Lightroom’s local adjustment tools.

Here’s the before-and-after comparison for the image processed in the video below. As you can see, I was able to transform the lighting quite drastically without making it look artificial.
