This is the Entrance to the harbor in La Goulette, Tunisia – a place that you probably have seen, when you have ever been to Tunis by ship. This was shot when we came back from a tour through Tunis and the situation was such that I could not wait for those people to disappear because the next group of people was already right behind me. So this was a very quick series of autobracketed shots without thinking too much about it.

I was shocked to see the violence going on in Tunis right now with the protests against the government. Having been to the place a few months ago brings you a bit closer to the events there. I hope that the people of Tunisia will get what they deserve – a government that is more democratic – and that the violence will soon end permanently.
